Personal Evaluation

The iAdvance mentor program is completely tailored to you based on where you are now, where you want to be a year from now, and your ultimate goals and aspirations as a racing driver. This program that we provide to our clients is not institutional, it’s not an academy, but rather a ‘behind the scenes’ opportunity to learn from some of the best and most seasoned racing drivers in the world. We offer unparalleled support to drivers of all levels and aspirations, and we do this through teaching, encouraging, instructing, mentoring, praising, influencing, guiding, and inspiring greatness.

We will begin with a personal evaluation. This is where you tell us everything. What you eat, how you sleep, how you exercise, what distractions you have, your schooling, your home life, your wins, your losses, your strengths, and your weaknesses. Based on this evaluation, we will create a custom, and all-encompassing mentor and physical fitness program that will advance you along a successful path to achieving your ultimate goals.

Driver Essentials

Learning the car, the data, and how to make it drive for you is critically important. A great understanding of how and why the car is performing will not only increase your confidence within your team, but will place you more in control of your own destiny as a successful racing driver.

There are a tremendous amount of factors that can present themselves when racing that ultimately will affect the car, its set-up, and how it needs to be driven. Some examples include; weather conditions, qualifying vs. race day set-up, new tires vs. old tires, sprint vs. endurance racing, and so much more. We will teach you everything that a driver needs to know to be the best no matter the situations or issues that arise. Feel confident knowing when it’s the right time to make changes to the car vs. when is it time to drive the setup that you have. Feel confident because you understand the techniques when changing the handling of the car in order to get the best lap time.   Learn to understand what you have just done in the car, and relaying all of that information to your team.   You also need to be able to relay what you actually want it to do based on what the car was doing, and how you had to drive it to get your best lap times.

Wherever you are in your racing career, there is always more to get out of yourself and the car.

Below are a few techniques that will be covered:

  • Learn basic and advanced driving techniques
  • Preparing for on-track and off-track situations that affect the car and your ability to drive it successfully
  • Understanding Car Set Up and effects on handling
  • Understanding the car’s behavior
  • Pre-Race Prep
  • Race Day Prep
  • Data Analysis and interpretation of on-track data, and how to use it to your advantage. There is a ton of info out there, but much of it is useless).
  • Competing to Win

Career Guidance

From your early years of karting through the highest levels, you will come across many forks in the road, and every decision you make will affect the rest of your racing career.

Knowing what your options are, next steps to take in your career, who to talk to along the way, when to make your move, the best opportunities for you, plus much more, will be extremely valuable to you.
Having an ally who has climbed the ranks, who has been faced with making many of these same decisions, and who knows the affects these decisions have on one’s career, will help to ensure that mistakes are minimized, and every opportunity is maximized.

Our team will pass on decisions that they were faced with, the choices they made, and decisions they wish they would have made differently.

Mental Aptitude

When the pressure is on, can you deliver? Learn from mentally strong and seasoned professional drivers about how they dealt with the pressures of racing. Let them help you gain the mental strength you need to be prepared to get the best from your situations, however normal or bizarre they may be.

You set fast times when there is nothing to lose, but when it’s time to go, and you have two laps to qualify on new tires, can you perform? Your mental aptitude has everything to do with it. When the pressure is on, can you deliver? Are you thinking about the right things? Are you relaxed? This is the “zone” that so many racing drivers refer to, and it is a talent that can be formed and improved with the right teacher. By learning your personality traits and characteristics, we will teach you how to get the best out of yourself when it’s go time.
